Providence Auto · Japan Import Specialists
Now You Can Buy Your Dream Car Direct from Japanese Auction.
Wherever you live, you can now buy from the same wholesale auction floor the trade buys on. You choose the car; we bid to your instruction, inspect it in person before your money moves, and give you the auction sheet, one all-in landed price and the paperwork support to import it with confidence.
Where are we landing it?
Buy direct from Japan's auction floor — with the auction sheet, the landed number and the paperwork support to do it with confidence.
Japan's wholesale auctions sell more than 100,000 independently graded cars every week, at prices no retail forecourt can match — and until now you needed a licence and a buyer in the hall to reach them. You tell us the model and specification you want. We find it, send you the original auction sheet and our own inspection findings before we bid, and quote one landed price covering the car, shipping, marine cover, duty and the taxes that apply at your destination. Choose your destination above and we will show you exactly how the rules, taxes and timeline work for your country.
Select a model to begin
Choose the car you want us to source.
Every model below is one we buy regularly in Japan, which means we already know what it should cost at auction, what condition to expect at each grade, and how it will be taxed when it reaches your country. Select one and we will open the inquiry form with that car filled in. If what you want is not shown here, use the card at the end of the grid and describe it to us instead.
Hybrids & Hatchbacks
Fuel-efficient hybrids and small hatchbacks.
These are the highest-volume cars we import, and for most private buyers they are the cheapest way to own a reliable car. Japanese owners trade them in early, so they reach auction with low verified mileage and a full inspection history, and their small engines and low emissions keep import duty and registration tax down in nearly every country we ship to.
SUVs & 4x4s
Land Cruisers and premium SUVs.
Japan registers more Land Cruisers than almost any other market and sells them on while they are still young, which is why a Japanese-sourced 4x4 usually lands cheaper than the equivalent car bought locally. Every vehicle in this group is right-hand drive as standard, and you see its auction grade, condition map and our own inspection findings before we bid on it.
Vans & People Movers
Seven and eight-seat vans.
Japanese people movers are built around sliding doors, a flat floor and a genuinely usable third row, which is why they are the default choice for large families and for private hire work in most of the markets we serve. Hybrid versions are widely available and keep both fuel bills and emissions-based import taxes low.
Luxury & Performance
Premium saloons and performance cars.
Japan's shaken inspection regime makes older cars expensive to keep, so premium models leave first ownership early and arrive at auction with mileage you can verify against the country's own inspection records. That is how a European executive saloon or a Japanese performance car reaches you for less than the local equivalent costs.
This is a shortlist, not our catalogue. If you are after a kei truck, a Toyota Hiace, a GR-badged model or anything else sold in Japan, describe it in the inquiry form and we will find it at auction for you.
Available Now From Japanese Auction
These are cars we have already sourced and graded in Japan, ready to ship to your country. The original auction sheet for any of them is available on request.
Every car we bid on carries an original Japanese auction sheet — an independent condition grade the entire trade relies on. We translate it, cross-check the mileage against Japan's inspection records, and send it to you with photographs before any money moves. You see the auction sheet before we spend a yen.
Why Import From Providence Auto
Auction-Grade Verified
We send you the original auction sheet with a full translation, so you can read the independent inspector's grade and panel-by-panel condition map for yourself. We cross-check the odometer against Japan's export certificate and inspection history, and if the car does not match its grade, we do not bid on it.
Your Country's Rules, Confirmed First
Every right-hand-drive market applies its own age limits, pre-export inspections, emissions rules and registration deadlines, and we have shipped through all of them. We confirm the rules in force for your destination before you commit, and check the car against them before it leaves Japan — so you know it qualifies rather than hoping it does.
One Honest Landed Price
Before you commit anything, we give you one all-in quote covering the car, auction fees, freight, marine insurance, duty and every local tax that applies at your destination. The price we quote is the price you pay on arrival.
Shipping and Paperwork Support
We book RoRo or container freight from Japan's ports to yours and keep the car under marine cover for the voyage. Your export file — certificate, inspection, bill of lading — is prepared and explained before it arrives, and our team supports you through clearance at your port. You get milestone updates the whole way.

Tell us exactly what you want.
Tell us the car you are after and we will find it at Japanese auction, verify its auction sheet, and come back to you with a full landed-cost quote for your country before you commit to anything.

Customer story: Japan Auction Import
"I'd been burned before by an importer who promised one grade and delivered another. Providence sent me the original auction sheet, the translation, and the inspection photos before I paid anything — then the exact car in those photos is the one that arrived. That's the whole difference."
