Land Rover Range Rover Electric 2026
Import to Kenya

The first battery-electric car to carry the Range Rover name, and you can order one now — JLR revealed it on 2 September 2026 and opened order books the same day. Twin 260 kW permanent magnet motors, up to 550PS and 850 Nm, a 118.5 kWh usable double-stack battery on an 800-volt architecture, up to 372 miles WLTP and 333 miles on JLR's own real-world figure, 10–80 per cent in around 22 minutes on a 350 kW charger, and 900 mm of wading kept. Every one of these cars in the world is built at Solihull, and the United Kingdom is one of the seven countries our own team buys in — so you can order it out of the country it is made in, choose the specification and the hand you need, and see the landed figure for your own port before anything is committed. Three things we will not pretend to know. JLR published no towing figure: the 2,500 kg in circulation is Carscoops' reporting, against 3,500 kg for the combustion car, and if you tow near that limit it is the line that decides this car for you. JLR published no kerb weight, which matters for freight quotation and for markets that band tax by weight. And JLR has not published what equipment separates SE, HSE and Autobiography, or SV from SV Ultra and SV Black, so those grades record only what the launch release actually confirms. Colour swatches are our approximation of the factory paint, not a colour match. Photography is JLR press imagery of the Range Rover Electric; JLR states that specification, design and availability alter continually and that its material is not an offer for the sale of any particular vehicle. No landed cost is shown on this page — the £154,070 figure is a United Kingdom on-the-road retail price with 20% UK VAT inside it, and it is not a base for an import calculation in any other country.

Import the new Land Rover Range Rover Electric to Kenya with less friction.

Before you import the Land Rover Range Rover Electric, you see the rules Kenya sets for it — which hand it can be registered in, the age limit, the duty and the taxes — confirmed for your exact model and priced into one landed figure, so you decide on the real number. Your quote covers the car and the freight to your port of arrival, with marine cover on the voyage, the document pack prepared and clearance support at the port.

What the SE adds

  • Aerodynamically-optimised grille and wheels — JLR notes the aero grille is market-dependent
  • Equipment level not published by JLR in the launch release

Steering

Your destination country decides which hand you can register, and we export this model from both.

Providence Advantages

You buy it where it is built

Every Range Rover Electric in the world is built at Solihull, and the United Kingdom is one of the seven countries our own team buys in. Ordering out of Britain means one set of taxes and one margin between the factory and your port, rather than buying a British car back off another market's retailer and paying freight on it twice.

You see the VAT line separately

About £25,700 of the £154,070 UK on-the-road price is British value added tax. On HMRC's export conditions that VAT does not fall due — but the conditions are real, with a three-month window to export and to evidence it. We show you that line on its own, so you can see which part of the number is the car and which part is a tax you may never pay.

You get told when the answer is no

A 22-minute rapid charge assumes a 350 kW charger within range of where the car lives, and a 118.5 kWh battery assumes a home supply that can fill it. If your destination cannot support either, we will say so and point you at the plug-in hybrid or combustion car off the same line, rather than landing you something you cannot charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our global direct import network.

Safety & Security

How do I know my money is safe?

Your payment is held securely and released only once the vehicle is confirmed, inspected and cleared for shipment. We've been operating for 15+ years and have long-standing relationships supplying the dealerships you already trust.

What if the car isn't what was described?

Every vehicle undergoes a full independent inspection before leaving the source country — carried out by our own team in that country, not by a broker on another continent. You receive the report, photos, and condition grading beforehand. If it doesn't match the spec, we don't ship it.

What happens if the car is damaged during shipping?

Every vehicle is covered by marine insurance for the voyage. In the unlikely event of transit damage, we run the claim with the insurer and keep you updated — you are not left to chase it alone.

Is Providence Auto a registered and licensed business?

Yes. We are a registered vehicle sourcing and export group with over 15 years of trading history and our own teams across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, operating under all applicable international trade and export regulations in every market we export from and to.

Can I speak to someone in person?

Absolutely. Our head office is in London and you're welcome to arrange a visit, and we have our own teams in Japan, the UAE, India, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand — with more markets added as our volumes grow. Wherever your car is coming from, we can jump on a video call so you can put a face to the name. We're real people, not a faceless website.

Which countries do you export vehicles from?

We export directly from the seven countries where we have our own sourcing teams — the UK, Japan, the UAE, India, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand — and we search many more markets besides. For any given specification we compare the total landed cost across every country that can supply it, then export from where it lands cheapest for you.

Vehicle Quality

How do you verify the condition of the car?

Every vehicle gets the same multi-point physical inspection from our own team, whichever country it is exported from — mechanical condition, bodywork, underbody, electronics, interior, service history and mileage. You receive the full report and photographs before your payment is released.

Can I request additional photos or a video walkaround?

Yes. We can arrange a full video walkaround and specific close-ups of the engine bay, undercarriage, interior details, or service stamps—whatever you need to feel confident.

What if I find an issue after the car arrives?

We stand behind our sourcing. If there is a discrepancy between the documentation and the arrival condition, we work with you to resolve it. Our reputation is built on 15 years of trust.

Are the cars you export accident-free?

We do not export cars with accident histories. We provide full vehicle history, including service and ownership records. We'd rather lose a sale than deliver a surprise.

Do the cars come with valid service history?

We prioritize vehicles with documented records. If a car has an incomplete history, we disclose that upfront so you can make an informed decision.

Exporting & Importing

How long does the whole process take?

Typically 1 week to find and confirm, then 3–4 weeks for transit to your destination port. We provide a specific timeline at the quote stage.

Do I need to handle any paperwork or customs forms?

Very little, and never on your own. We prepare and file the export side ourselves — Bill of Lading, export compliance, HS codes and whatever pre-shipment inspection your country requires — and send you the completed file rather than a list of things to go and find. At your end, we ship to your destination port rather than to your door: the import entry is made in your name, and we prepare the documents, tell you exactly what happens at the port, and support you through clearance.

Will the car be legal to drive in my country?

We advise on compliance and registration requirements before you commit. We'll flag any necessary modifications (lighting, emissions) upfront so there are no surprises.

How do I track my vehicle during shipping?

You'll receive real-time updates at every stage: sourced, inspected, loaded, in transit, and port arrival. You'll always know exactly where your car is.

What costs are included in your quote?

Our quote includes the vehicle price, inspection, shipping, insurance, and export docs. We also outline destination-side costs like duty and taxes so you see the full picture.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers with full invoicing. Deposits can also be taken securely online via Stripe. You'll have a complete paper trail from start to finish.
